『エレキ・インスト・グループのブルージーンズを病気で脱退したエレキの神様寺内タケシが、若手を集めて結成したバニーズのファースト。歌もの5曲とインスト7曲が収録されており、④⑧のようなGSっぽい曲の悪くないが、デビュー・シングルとしてもリリースされた①⑦をはじめ、インスト曲の方が当然のように熱量の高い凄まじい演奏を聴かせる。海外進出という意欲からか、ジャケ裏には英文解説が載っているが、近年になりバニーズは世界中のガレージ・ファンに愛好されている。これ以降のシングル曲にもガレージ度の高い曲が多く、本作と共にDJにも人気がある。』
『68年1月、杉並公会堂でのライヴ。A面《レッツ・ゴー・バニーズ》サイドは、ファンの黄色い歓声とMCがGSなムードでなごめる。シングルに佳曲が多いだけに、収録されたのが②④⑦だけなのはちょっと寂しい。「悪魔のベイビー」が入っていないのは何故？B面《レッツ・ゴー・寺内タケシ》サイドは、おなじみのエレキ・インスト大会でやけに礼儀正しい拍手がとてもA面と同じ観客とは思えない。カヴァー曲の選曲のセンスがイマひとつだったり、ジャケットのデザインやファッション・センスもダサかったが演奏のカッコ良さは保証付きだ。67年の非売品ライブの方がもっと激しいので復刻を望む。』

『寺内タケシから独立し、68年夏から‘荻野達也とバニーズ’として5枚のシングルをリリース後に作り上げた入魂の作品集。カヴァー8曲に加え、⑧⑪は荻野のオリジナル曲、⑨は村井邦彦作曲のボサノヴァで、70年にシングルで発表している名曲。テキサス・ビルの①、カスケイズの⑦、ジョージ・ハリスンの⑩は、秀逸な日本語カヴァーだ。ラスト⑪は11分以上に及ぶソフト・プログレッシヴ組曲で、最大の聴きどころ。さらにR＆Bやアカペラにも挑戦しており、コーラスやブラスのアレンジもすばらしいヴァラエティに富んだソフト・ロック・アルバムと言える。16チャンネルを導入した職人的音作りに脱帽。』
